Terms & Conditions – HomeHub Go Promotion

  1. General
    1. In addition to these Promotion Terms & Conditions, your use of HomeHub Go Services is subject to StarHub's General Consumer Terms & Conditions, Service Specific Terms & Conditions for HomeHub Go Plan, and any other terms and conditions that you and we may have agreed to from time to time. You may view our terms and conditions at Legal Notices & Terms.
    2. If there is any conflict or inconsistency between any provision of these Promotion Terms & Conditions, the General Consumer Terms & Conditions and Service Specific Terms & Conditions, the documents shall be construed in the following order of precedence:
      1. Promotion Terms & Conditions
      2. Service Specific Terms & Conditions for HomeHub Plan; and
      3. General Consumer Terms & Conditions.
  2. Eligibility and Service Requirements
    1. To enjoy this HomeHub Go Promotion you must procure a HomeHub Go Promotion Plan ("the Promotion") as follows:
      1. subscribe to StarHub Mobile, Fibre Home Broadband, StarHub TV, Digital Voice Home and MaxMobile services altogether as a new service; or
      2. have existing standalone subscriptions to StarHub Mobile, Fibre Home Broadband, StarHub TV, Mobile Broadband (Applicable Plan: Free MaxMobile (1GB) Datapack) and Digital Voice Home for which the minimum period of service for each service has been completed.
    2. The HomeHub Go Promotion Plan with StarHub Cable TV is only available to homes connected to StarHub's cable network with a 2-way interactive signal.
    3. The HomeHub Go Promotion Plan with Fibre Home Broadband and/or StarHub Fibre TV Service is only available to homes which are fibre-ready and have a fibre termination point within the premises. If you are a new subscriber to the Fibre Home Broadband and/or StarHub Fibre TV Service with HomeHub Go 500 or HomeHub Go 1000, then under this Promotion you will enjoy free installation of a fibre termination point within your premises at any point within 15-metres from the point of entry to your home. An installation fee will apply for subscribers to HomeHub Go 200.
    4. If fibre home broadband installation is not possible or delayed more than 3 months, the mobile line will default to a 4G4 Mobile plan and the mobile contract will be deemed to have commenced from the date of first sign up. The remaining active services will default to standalone services and you may choose to subscribe to prevailing offers that apply to these stand alone services. However,
    5. if you choose to terminate StarHub TV, MaxMobile and/or Digital Voice, then there will be no ETC will be charged.
    6. if you choose to terminate a 4G 4 Subscription plan, Early Termination Charges will apply, as follows:

    1. If you port out your HomeHub Go Mobile main line before the commencement of your HomeHub Go Bundle Subscription, then you will be subject to 4G 4 Mobile Early Termination Charges as set out above. If your MaxMobile service is active at the time that you port out your HomeHub Go Mobile main line then your MaxMobile service will be terminated. Any active StarHub TV, Broadband and/or Digital Voice services at the time of porting out will be charged at the prevailing rates as set out in our service specific terms and conditions . The installation of any pending service will be cancelled.
  1. Charges
    1. The following one-time charges will be charged for new sign ups unless there is a prevailing promotion. For StarHub TV and/or Home Broadband, you will be billed the higher charge and not both.

        1.  NetLink Trust will need to be engaged to repair or replace your FTP. The applicable charges will be quoted by NLT onsite.

        The charges listed above may change from time to time. For the most updated charges, please refer to our website at www.starhub.com/hubbing.
    2. The HomeHub Go Promotion Plan subscription and contract will commence after all 5 services are fully installed and activated. Prior to the commencement of the HomeHub Go Promotion Plan subscription, the below Charges will apply for each active individual Service:
      1. StarHub TV:
        1. 3 of 7 TV Groups will be free; and
        2. Charges will apply for additional TV subscriptions and set-top boxes.
      2. Home Broadband:
        1. 200Mbps Fibre Broadband : $39.90 per month;
        2. 500Mbps Fibre Broadband : $49.90 per month; or 
        3. 1000Mbps Fibre Broadband : $49.90 per month.
      3. HomeHub Go Mobile:
        1. $60 per month; and
        2. Excess usage charges and value-added services subscription(s) are applicable.
      4. MaxMobile Free 1GB:
        1. Free; and
        2. Excess usage chargesand value-added services subscription(s) are applicable.
      5. Digital Voice Home:
        1. $2.10 per month; and
        2. IDD usage and value-added services subscription(s) are applicable.
    3. A HD enabled set-top box is required and standard rental charges will apply.
    4. Upon commencement of your HomeHub Go Promotion Plan:
      1. prevailing local mobile excess charges will apply if you exceed the local bundled units that are part of your HomeHub Go Mobile. Please refer to Mobile Voice Plan Consumer Terms & Conditions for further details.
      2. MaxMobile 21Mbps (1GB) comes with 1GB bundled data. Excess data usage will be charged at $8.56 per GB. Your monthly bill is capped at a promotional rate of $85.60 (U.P. $168). The promotional rate will apply until 31 December 2016, after which your monthly bill will be capped at the prevailing rate of $168 per month.
      3. You are eligible to re-contract your HomeHub Go plan after completing 12 months of your contract.  An Early Recontract Fee of $300 will be applicable if you choose to recontract between the 13th to 20th months of your current contract.
  2. Equipment
    1. You may rent a maximum of 4 set-top boxes for each subscription of the StarHub TV.  If the number of set-top boxes that you require exceeds the maximum limit, you may still procure additional boxesby entering into an additional subscription for the additional set-top boxes.
    2. You will need certain equipment (“Home Broadband Equipment”) to access our Home Broadband Services, including Voice-enabled Optical Network Terminal (“VeONT”) for Fibre Home Broadband Service. We will provide  the VeONT to you at no charge.
    3. The value of the Home Broadband Equipment that we provide may not be used to offset existing subscription charges or outstanding balances, or exchanged for cash or benefits-in-kind.
    4. StarHub will not be responsible for any defects in the Home Broadband Equipment or any items which you may have connected to the Home Broadband Equipment. The Home Broadband Equipment is covered under and subject to the terms of warranty from the relevant manufacturers.
    5. If you encounter any issues with the mobile equipment (“Mobile Equipment”), you are advised to visit the relevant manufacturer's service centre. Further details can be found on our website at Manufacturer Service Centres.
    6. In the event of a return or exchange of the Mobile Equipment, you should  return the Mobile Equipment (including the device, charger, battery, instructions and any other components and/or accessories) in the original packaging, accompanied by the original proof of purchase from StarHub.
    7. Your use of the StarHub services and any value-added services is subject to StarHub's Consumer General Terms and Conditions.
  3. Termination
    1. You must commit to a minimum contract term of twenty-four (24) months for HomeHub Go in order to enjoy  this Promotion (“Minimum Period of Service”) and the contract term will commence from the date on which the last required service is installed and activated. Any period of suspension will not be counted towards the HomeHub Go Plan Minimum Period of Service.
    2. If you terminate at any time during the HomeHub Go Promotion Plan Minimum Period of Service, you will be required to  to pay early termination charges as follows:

    1. In addition - to the ETCs specified above, the following charges will be applicable if the Fibre Broadband service is terminated.
      1. Tiered 12-month Service Early Termination Charge calculated as follows:
        $385.20 x number of days unfulfilled in Fibre Broadband Minimum Period of Service / 365 days.
      2. A Disconnection Fee of $32.10 applies if the Fibre Broadband service is terminated at any point in time.
    2. The HomeHub Go Promotion Plan may be terminated:
      1. If you request termination of your HomeHub Go Promotion Plan and/or any service in the HomeHub Go Promotion Plan;
      2. If you request a port-out of the mobile line that was provided under the HomeHub Go Promotion Plan. The remaining HomeHub Go Mobile and MaxMobile services will be terminated. StarHub TV, Home Broadband and/or Digital Voice will remain active and you will be charged at prevailing rates as set out in the service specific terms and conditions that apply to those particular services. The installation of any  pending service will be cancelled. If the service cancelled is StarHub Fibre Broadband, then a cancellation charge will apply.
      3. If you downgrade any of the bundled services enjoyed under the HomeHub Go Promotion Plan;
      4. If you switch any service in the HomeHub Go Promotion Plan with a service that is outside the HomeHub Go Promotion Plan;
      5. If you suspend the HomeHub Go Promotion Plan for a period of more than 3 months; or
      6. If you fail to pay or are late to pay all or part of the charges due under the HomeHub Go Promotion Plan.
    3. If the HomeHub Go Promotion Plan is terminated and HomeHub Go Mobile remains active, it will be changed to a 4G 4 Mobile plan.
    4. In addition to the aforesaid, if you terminate before the minimum period as indicated below, then the following additional fees will apply.
      1. Fibre Home Broadband Service Termination Fee if you terminate within 12 months of your initial subscription: 
        1. $385.20 x number of days unfulfilled in Fibre Broadband Minimum Period of Service / 365 day;
        2. Fibre Home Broadband disconnection charge if you terminate at any point in time: $32.10;
        3. StarHub TV disconnection fee if you terminate within 3 months of your initial subscription: $64.20; and/or
        4. Digital Voice Home if you terminate within 3 months of your subscription: $32.10.
  1. HomeHub Voucher
    1. By subscribing to the HomeHub Plan, you will, subject to applicable terms and conditions, be entitled to receive from us a HomeHub Voucher each month. We will inform you of the value of the HomeHub Voucher, which shall be determined based on the type of HomeHub Plan you subscribe to. Please refer to Hubbing Broadband Bundles for further details.
    2. The HomeHub Voucher may be used to offset certain Charges incurred by you in relation to StarHub TV services which are over and above the minimum 3 Groups required for the subscription of the StarHub TV services. We will notify you of such Charges from time to time. Currently, Charges which may be offset using the HomeHub Voucher are those relating to additional groups of channels, add-on channels and/or add-on groups purchased by you, but excluding Add-on Packs. "Add-on Packs" include without limitation the Box Office Pack, Supreme Box Office Pack, Yu Le Pack, Qiang Dang Yu Le Pack, Thangam Pack, Idaman Pack, Ultimate Pinoy Pack, Manoranjan Pack and Thangam Migai Pack.
    3. For video-on-demand services, the HomeHub Voucher may be used to offset Charges for video-on-demand services purchased via your set-top-box only and cannot be used for video-on-demand services purchased via the StarHub Go Service or the StarHub Go Value-Added Service.
    4. The HomeHub Voucher cannot be used to offset Charges in relation to any type of television content purchased via the StarHub Go Service or StarHub Go Value-Added Service.
  2. Hub Club 
    1. Your HomeHub Go Mobile line is counted in determining your entitlement for the Hub Club Mobile Discount. However, your HomeHub Go Mobile line itself does not qualify for the Hub Club Mobile Discount.
    2. You can still enjoy the Hub Club StarHub TV 10% Discount on additional TV charges after deducting the value of the HomeHub Voucher.
    3. Waiver of S$200 from the early mobile re-contract fee of S$300 is only applicable to one mobile line (that is registered under a Hub Club member’s NRIC/FIN) every 12 months. This is provided that there are no outstanding balances and the mobile line for which the waiver is sought must be in active use for at least 12 months.  
  3. StarHub Go Value-Added Service
    1. The applicable charge for the StarHub Go Value-Added Service is $5.35/month. However, for StarHub TV Customers, it is currently offered free on a promotional basis from now until 30 June 2016. Other Terms and Conditions apply. For more details, visit TV wherever with StarHub TV.
    2. In addition, all subscribers to the StarHub HomeHub plans will be entitled to complimentary subscription to Disney Movies on Demand until 31 December 2016. Subscribers will be charged $8.56 per month (incl. GST) from 1 January 2017 onwards.
  4. HomeHub Go Mobile Add-on
    1. You may only subscribe for HomeHub Go Mobile Add-on line(s) when you sign up to the HomeHub Go Promotion Plan.
    2. The number of HomeHub Go Mobile Add-on lines that you can subscribe to is based on the prevailing service eligibility policy as set out in the HomeHub Go Service Specific Terms and Conditions.
    3. You are eligible to subscribe to HomeHub Go Mobile Add-on plans at the time when you initially subscribe to HomeHub Go or after your HomeHub Go plan is active. Subscriptions to HomeHub Go Mobile Add-on are not available between your initial subscription to HomeHub Go and your activation of your HomeHub Go Plan.
  5. Others
    1. CIS monthly subscription discounts, Share Plus Plan and StarHub Youth Perks are not applicable with the HomeHub Go and HomeHub Go Mobile Add-on Plan.
    2. This Promotion is not available with other discounts, promotions, special packages or offers, unless specified by StarHub.
    3. This Promotion cannot be used to offset subscription charges or outstanding balances, and cannot be exchanged for cash or benefit-in-kind and is non-refundable.
    4. The unused benefits under this Promotion will be forfeited and cannot be exchanged for cash or benefit in kind.
    5. In the event of a dispute, a customer's entitlement to this Promotion is subject to our sole discretion and final determination.
    6. We reserve the right to revise any of these Promotion Terms & Conditions at our discretion without prior notice. Use of any service under the HomeHub Plan will constitute acceptance of these Promotion Terms and Conditions and the amendments thereof.
    7. These Promotions terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Singapore and you agree to be bound by the exclusive jurisdiction of courts of Singapore.

  1. General

    2. If there is any conflict or inconsistency between any provision of these Promotion Terms & Conditions, the General Consumer Terms & Conditions and Service Specific Terms & Conditions for HomeHub Go Plan, the documents shall be construed in the following order of precedence:

      3. General Consumer Terms & Conditions.
  2. Eligibility and Service Requirements
    1. HomeHub Go Mobile Add-on (additional mobile lines) is available to HomeHub Go (bundle plan) subscribers only.
    2. Your HomeHub Go Mobile Add-on line(s) account must be included in the same billing account as your HomeHub Go account. If your use of the HomeHub Go billing account ceases, then all HomeHub Go Mobile Add-on lines will be changed to 4G 4 Mobile plans and the prevailing monthly subscription charge for 4G 4 plans will apply. If there is any contract linked to the mobile line, then that contract shall continue.
    3. You are eligible to subscribe to HomeHub Go Mobile Add-on plans at the time when you initially subscribe to HomeHub Go or after your HomeHub Go plan is active. Subscriptions to HomeHub Go Mobile Add-on are not available between your initial subscription to HomeHub Go and your activation of your HomeHub Go Plan.
    4. An early termination charge (as stated below) will apply if the StarHub service is terminated within the minimum period of service.
    5. You are eligible to re-contract your HomeHub Go Mobile Add-on after completing 12 months of your contract.  An Early Recontract Fee of $300 will be applicable if you choose to recontract between the 13th to 20th months of your current contract.

  1. Hub Club Membership
    1. Each HomeHub Go Mobile Add-on line is counted towards your entitlement for the Hub Club Mobile Discount, however, the Hub Club Mobile Discount cannot be used against the monthly subscription of the HomeHub Go Mobile Add-on line.
    2. Waiver of $200 from the early mobile re-contract fee of $300 is only applicable to one mobile line (that is registered under a Hub Club member’s NRIC/FIN) every 12 months. This is provided that there are no outstanding balances and the mobile line for which the waiver is sought must be in active use for at least 12 months.
       
  2. Other Chargers
    1. Prevailing local mobile excess charges apply. Please refer to Mobile Voice Plan Consumer Terms & Conditions for further details.
