Terms & Conditions - StarHub TV HD Packs

 

  1. Promotion is applicable to new and existing StarHub TV customers who are not on promotional contract and do not have outstanding bills with StarHub.
  2. The StarHub TV service is available to homes connected to StarHub’s network with 2-way interactivity signal. For the StarHub TV on Fibre service, it is available to homes with a StarHub Fibre Broadband service and StarHub Fibre Broadband Terms and Conditions apply.
  3. Promotion is valid till a date determined by StarHub.
  4. A minimum contractual period of 24 continuous months to StarHub TV's subscription plan is required. Early Termination Charge is calculated based on the remaining contractual period multiplied by the monthly subscription rate of the plan/channel(s) to be terminated. Any period of suspension will not be counted towards the minimum contractual period.
  5. A minimum monthly subscription to 3 Basic Tiers is required and this does not include subscription to Pay-Per-View, Telescope, main set-top box and additional set-top box(es).

  7. TV subscription discount received by customer is up to $10.70 per month and subject to the amount payable by customer for his/her CATV subscription. This discount will be credited to the customer’s account monthly for 24 continuous months. Thereafter, normal billing resumes. In the event should the service be suspended, the promotional discounts will not be given during the suspension period.
  8. Basic HD Upsize subscription discount is limited to $4.28 per month and will be credited to the customer’s account monthly for 24 continuous months. Thereafter, normal billing resumes. In the event should the service be suspended, the promotional discounts will not be given during the suspension period.
  9. HD channels can only be viewed with subscription of the IPTV set-top box, HD Interactive set-top box or HubStation HD DVR set-top box which are not included in the HD Packs. Rental of $6.42/month for IPTV set-top box, HD Interactive set-top box and/or $14.98/month for HubStation HD DVR set-top box applies.
  10. HD Channels in Basic HD Upsize are dependent on the corresponding channels in Standard Definition in customer’s Basic Tier subscription.
  11. Last day of installation is within 7 days from the date of sign-up.
  12. Installation charge of $53.50 applies for first set-top box and $16.05 for each subsequent set-top box installed on the same trip at the same service address.
  13. Delivery of set-top box(es) without installation is chargeable at $12.84 per trip at the same service address (not applicable to Box Swap/Remote Controls/Smart Cards/Accessories/Telescope/DTTV/StarHub TV prepaid services).
  14. StarHub TV service activation fee of $32.10 is applicable.
  15. Promotion cannot be used to offset existing subscription charges or outstanding balances due to StarHub.
  16. Promotion is non-exchangeable for cash or kind, is non-refundable and non transferable.
  17. Promotion is not applicable to other in-house promotions or discounts unless specified by StarHub.
  18. Promotion is not applicable to StarHub Digital Terrestrial TV, Commercial and Bulk Subscription customers, and StarHub employees on StarHub Employee Plan.
  19. An equipment deposit of $250 is chargeable if the customer is not a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident and holds a Work Permit or Student Pass.
  20. All prices quoted are inclusive of 7% GST. If the GST rate is revised, the prices will be revised accordingly.
  21. In the event of a dispute, a customer’s entitlement or rights (if any) under Promotion is subject to the sole discretion and final determination of StarHub. StarHub TV is part of StarHub TV Cable services. The use of such services is also subject to StarHub’s General Terms & Conditions for Info-communications Services and Service Specific Terms & Conditions for StarHub TV.
  22. StarHub reserves the right to revise these Terms & Conditions herein (including prices) at its discretion without prior notice. Participation in Promotion or use of StarHub CableTV will constitute acceptance of these Terms & Conditions and the amendments thereof.

StarHub Go Value-Added Service

  1. StarHub Go Value-Added Service is FREE for all StarHub TV subscribers until 31 December 2016. StarHub TV Subscribers will be charged $5.35/month for the StarHub Go Value-Added Service from 1 January 2017 onwards.
  2. StarHub postpaid mobile customers will be able to stream StarHub Go without incurring data charges. All you have to do is to set your mobile data access point (APN) to SHWAP via your mobile device network settings.
  3. Data charges at the prevailing rates may apply to mobile subscribers who access StarHub Go using other various forms of mobile data connections, including limitation 2G, 3G or LTE connections.
