Terms and Conditions - Happy Roam Data Services (“Services”)



  1. All StarHub Mobile Prepaid customers are eligible to use the Services in Singapore and selected destinations overseas while connected to Preferred Partners’ network.
  2. The destinations covered by the Services are Australia, Canada, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Macau, Myanmar, New Zealand, Phillipines, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, United Kingdom and United States of America. StarHub may add other partners in future by amending these Terms and Conditions.
  3. All Prepaid Mobile Data Plans are applicable for the Services, excluding free local data awarded with top-up and free local data that comes with SIM card activation.
  4. Usage in excess of Data Plans, will be charged at prevailing Singapore Per-Use data rates.
  5. The Services apply for Data usage only and is not applicable for voice calls. A minimum of $3 credit is required in the main wallet for Prepaid Roaming Service.
  6. The StarHub Prepaid mobile number must be active at point of usage.
  7. Customers are responsible to comply with the instructions issued by StarHub Mobile from time to time, including selecting the correct APN (Access Point Name), being 'StarHub Data Prepaid' or 'shppd'.
  8. StarHub will not be liable for any connectivity, coverage, interruption, technical or infrastructure problems, data loss or corruption or any other issues related to use of the Services.
  9. Roaming network availability and coverage are not within StarHub's control and are subjected to the network limitations offered by the roaming partner or StarHub's Preferred Partner's network.
  10. StarHub reserves the right to change pricing, packaging and plans at its discretion without prior notice.
  11. StarHub reserves the right to determine the eligibility of any customer request for this offer and to reject any customer request as it deems fit.
  12. Customers using the Services for data roaming will automatically be logged on to StarHub's Preferred Partners' network. Customers should stay connected to these networks at their own discretion to enjoy the Services, otherwise unnecessary charges may occur.

    2. Canada – Rogers Communication
    3. China – China Mobile
    4. Hong Kong – Three (3)
    5. India – Bharti Airtel, IDEA, Vodafone
    6. Indonesia – XL Axiata, Three (3), Indosat
    7. Japan- NTT DoCoMo, KDDI
    8. Macau - CTM Macau
    9. Malaysia – Celcom, Digi Telecom, Maxis, U Mobile
    10. Myanmar – MPT, Telenor
    11. New Zealand- 2Degrees, TNZ
    12. Phillipines- Smart
    13. South Korea- SK Telecom, Olleh KT
    14. Taiwan – Far EasTone, Chunghwa Telecom
    15. Thailand – TrueMove, DTAC
    16. United Kingdom – Three (3)
    17. United States of America - AT&T, T-Mobile
  14. All data usage will be calculated based on StarHub’s records. StarHub’s records shall be final and conclusive.
  15. StarHub reserves the right to change any part of these Terms and Conditions from time to time without notice.
