Terms & Conditions - Digital Voice Home and Digital Voice Global Subscription

 

  1. Customers are strongly encouraged to upgrade the Services that they currently subscribe to the latest Services, technology or platform as may be made available by StarHub from time to time. For the Services under these Service Specific Terms & Conditions, customers are strongly encouraged to upgrade from cable to fibre platform and in order to do this, customers are required to subscribe to and maintain StarHub’s Fibre Broadband Service for the duration of customers’ subscription of Digital Voice Home.
  2. Subscribers of Digital Voice Home and Digital Voice Global services must be at least 18 years old.
  3. If an applicant is below 21 years old, holds the following foreign pass: Work Permit, Student Pass, DEP or LTSVP, and wishes to subscribe to StarHub IDD service, the subscriber must provide a guarantor who must be at least 21 years old and is either a Singapore citizen or permanent resident.
  4. An activation fee of $21.40 for each Service is chargeable for the activation of the Digital Voice Home or Digital Voice Global Service.
  5. A disconnection fee of $32.10 for each Service will be imposed if the customer terminates his or her subscription to the Digital Voice Home or Digital Voice Global Service within 3 months from the Start Date of such Service.
  6. The unlimited FREE outgoing calls only apply to fixed and mobile numbers registered in Singapore. The unlimited FREE outgoing calls do not apply to premium rated service calls (e.g. 1900 number) and numbers as stated in the exclusion list, which will be chargeable at the prevailing Charges. For details of the exclusion list, please refer to www.starhub.com/voice.
  7. Service calls are chargeable at $40.66 per visit, plus a mandatory transport charge of $12.84.
  8. Installation service is chargeable at $53.50 per connection. Alternatively, delivery of the voice-enabled optical network terminal (“VeONT)”) is chargeable at $12.84 per trip to the same Service Address.
  9. A minimum of 2 workings days is required to activate the barring of StarHub IDD Service.
  10. Customers are required to purchase their own integrated access device (“IAD”) for access to the Digital Voice Global Service.
  11. StarHub will not be responsible for any defect of the IAD or Voice-enabled Cable Modem (“VeCM”) or VeONT. Any defect of the IAD/VeCM or VeONT will be covered under the relevant manufacturer’s warranty only and customer’s sole and exclusive remedy shall be according to the terms of such manufacturer’s warranty.
  12. The Minimum Period of Service for Digital Voice Home or Digital Voice Global Service is 3 months each.
  13. StarHub will not be responsible for the IAD / VeCM / VeONT or any related hardware or software comprised therein, or any loss or damage caused by or as a result of the use of the IAD / VeCM / VeONT, hardware or software, whether in conjunction with the Digital Voice Home or Digital Voice Global Service or otherwise.
  14. StarHub's terms & conditions (including General Terms & Conditions, applicable Service Specific Terms & Conditions for MaxOnline, MaxInfinity, Digital Voice Home, Digital Voice Global, and/or International Telephone Services and Terms & Conditions of Network Connection) shall apply.   15. StarHub reserves the right to amend these terms & conditions or any Promotional Terms & Conditions (including pricing plans, Charges etc) at its discretion and without notice. Use of the Digital Voice Global Service will constitute acceptance of such terms & conditions and the amendments thereof.
     

$2.10 per Month Digital Voice Home Promotion for StarHub Fibre Home Broadband / TV Customers (“$2.10 per Month Digital Voice Home Promotion”)

  1. Customers who sign up for a StarHub Fibre Home Broadband or TV Service with a minimum subscription to the 3 Basic Groups from 1 September 2012 to 31 July 2018 (“Eligible Customers”) are eligible for this $2.10 per Month Digital Voice Home Promotion. Eligible Customers will be entitled to sign up for the Digital Voice Home Service and pay a promotional rate of $2.10 per month during the Minimum Period of Service under the relevant StarHub Fibre Home Broadband or Fibre TV service contract (“Promotion Period”). Upon the expiry of the Promotion Period, eligible Customers will be required to pay the usual price of $10.49 per month. StarHub may extend the Promotion Period in its sole discretion.
  2. All StarHub Fibre Home Broadband, and Fibre TV customers who were under the complimentary Digital Voice Home Promotion prior to 1 September 2012 will be automatically migrated to this new $2.10 per Month Digital Voice Home Promotion.
  3. To continue to be eligible for the promotional rate of $2.10 per month, a customer will be required to maintain an active subscription to his or her StarHub Fibre Home Broadband or TV Service (as the case may be). Customer will also be required to pay the usual price of $10.49 per month if his or her StarHub Fibre Home Broadband or TV Service is terminated for any reason.
  4. Each customer is eligible to only one Digital Voice Home Service per Service Address under the promotional rate, regardless of the number of StarHub Fibre Home Broadband or Fibre TV Services subscribed to. Subsequent fixed lines will each be chargeable at the usual price of $10.49 per month.
  5. The $2.10 per Month Digital Voice Home Promotion is not applicable for customers whose residential Singapore addresses are not allowed to subscribe to Digital Voice Home Service.
  6. This Promotion is not applicable for customers:
    1. with outstanding payments on any StarHub Service; and
    2. whose residential Singapore addresses are not allowed to subscribe to the Digital Voice Services.
  7. This Promotion is not valid with other in-house promotions, unless otherwise specified by StarHub.
  8. The selection of the Value-Added Services must be done at the point of sale to enjoy the waiver of the Value-Added Services activation fee.
  9. Unless otherwise stated, all Charges and prices quoted include GST.
  10. In additional to these Terms & Conditions, Consumer General Terms & Conditions and the relevant Service Specific Terms & Conditions apply (collectively “Terms & Conditions”).
  11. StarHub reserves the right to amend any Terms & Conditions at its absolute discretion and without notice. Participation in this New Promotion or use of StarHub Services will constitute acceptance of the Terms & Conditions and the amendments thereof.
