Terms & Conditions - Digital Voice Home Promotion

 

  1. General
    1. StarHub may run promotions (each a “Promotion”) for StarHub Digital Voice Home and Digital Voice Global Services from time to time. The terms and conditions for the following Promotions are set out below.
    2. For both Digital Voice Home and Digital Voice Global customers: 
      1. Free Outgoing Calls Promotion; and 
      2. Free Number Retention Promotion.
    3. For Digital Voice Home customers only: 
      1. $2.10 per Month Digital Voice Home Promotion; 
      2. Value Bundle Promotion; 
      3. Caller Number Display VAS Promotion.
    4. The use of Digital Voice Home and Digital Voice Global Services are also subject to StarHub's Consumer General Terms & Conditions, and any other terms and conditions that you and we may have agreed to from time to time. You may view our terms and conditions at Legal Notices & Terms.
    5. If there is any conflict or inconsistency between any provision of these Promotion Terms & Conditions, the Consumer General Terms & Conditions and Service Specific Terms & Conditions, the documents shall be construed in the following order of precedence:
      1. Promotion Terms & Conditions;
      2. Service Specific Terms & Conditions for Digital Voice Home Service or Digital Voice Global Service (as the case may be); and
      3. Consumer General Terms & Conditions.
    6. Any customer with outstanding payments under an existing account for any StarHub service is not eligible for any Promotion.
  2. Free Outgoing Calls for Digital Voice Home and Digital Voice Global Customers Promotion (“Free Outgoing Calls Promotion”)
    1. Under this Free Outgoing Calls Promotion, Digital Voice Home and Digital Voice Global customers will be entitled to unlimited free outgoing calls to Singapore-registered fixed-line and mobile numbers and (for Digital Voice Global customers only) to StarHub-approved IADs until 31 July 2017, or such other date as specified by StarHub.
    2. This Free Outgoing Calls Promotion does not apply to premium-rated service calls (such as calls to 1900 numbers) and numbers stated in the exclusion list, which will be chargeable at the prevailing Charges. For further details on the exclusion list, please refer to Free Outgoing Calls Promotions.
  3. Free Number Retention Promotion for Digital Voice Home and Digital Voice Global Customers (“Free Number Retention Promotion”)
    1. Under this Free Number Retention Promotion, customers may port over their fixed-line number registered under another third party service provider to the Digital Voice Home or Digital Voice Global Services, and retain their original fixed-line number for free.
    2. Customers who sign up for Digital Voice Home or Digital Voice Global Services on or before 31 July 2017 are eligible for the Free Number Retention Promotion. Customers who sign up after 31 July 2017 will be charged the usual price of $8.40 per month
  4. $2.10 per Month Digital Voice Home Promotion for StarHub Cable Home Broadband / Fibre Home Broadband / TV Customers (“$2.10 per Month Digital Voice Home Promotion”)
    1. Customers who sign up for a StarHub Cable Home Broadband, Fibre Home Broadband or TV service with a minimum subscription to the 3 Basic Groups from 1 September 2012 to 31 July 2017 (“Eligible Customers”) are eligible for this $2.10 per Month Digital Voice Home Promotion. Eligible Customers will be entitled to sign up for the Digital Voice Home Service and pay a promotional rate of $2.10 per month during the Minimum Period of Service under the relevant StarHub Cable Home Broadband, Fibre Home Broadband or TV service contract (“Promotion Period”). Eligible Customers will be required to pay the usual price of $10.49 per month after the Promotion Period expires. StarHub may extend the Promotion Period in its sole discretion.            
    2. All StarHub Cable Home Broadband, Fibre Home Broadband, and TV customers who were under the complimentary Digital Voice Home Promotion prior to 1 September 2012 will be automatically migrated to this new $2.10 per Month Digital Voice Home Promotion.
    3. To continue to be eligible for the promotional rate of $2.10 per month, a customer will be required to maintain an active subscription to his StarHub Cable Home Broadband, Fibre Home Broadband or TV service (as the case may be). Customer will be required to pay the usual price of $10.49 per month if his StarHub Cable Home Broadband, Fibre Home Broadband or TV service is terminated for any reason.
    4. Each customer is eligible to only one Digital Voice Home Service per service address under the promotional rate, regardless of the number of StarHub Cable Home Broadband, Fibre Home Broadband or TV services subscribed to. Subsequent fixed lines will each be chargeable at the usual price of $10.49 per month.
    5. The $2.10 per Month Digital Voice Home Promotion is not applicable for customers whose residential Singapore addresses which are not allowed to subscribe to the Digital Voice Home Service.
  5. Digital Voice Home Value Bundle Promotion (“Value Bundle Promotion”)
    1. The Digital Voice Home Value Bundle comprises the following value-added services (each a “VAS”):
      1. Caller-number display;
      2. Call divert;
      3. Call waiting; and
      4. Voice mail.
    2. Under the Value Bundle Promotion, each Digital Voice Home customer will be entitled to enjoy the Digital Voice Home Value Bundle for free during the first 3 months of his subscription.
    3. After the 3-month free subscription, customer will be charged the usual price of $4.82 per month for the Digital Voice Home Value Bundle.
    4. The Value Bundle Promotion is applicable from 20 April 2006 until 31 July 2017, or such other date as StarHub may determine in its sole discretion.
    5. Customers who sign up for a new Digital Voice Home Service, including StarHub Cable Home Broadband, Fibre Home Broadband or TV customers who are eligible for the $2.10 per Month Digital Voice Home Promotion, are eligible for the Value Bundle Promotion.
    6. The Value Bundle Promotion is not applicable to existing Digital Voice Home subscriptions.
  6. Paid Digital Voice Home Caller Number Display Value-Added Service Promotion (“Caller Number Display VAS Promotion”)
    1. Under this Caller Number Display VAS Promotion, each Digital Voice Home customer who subscribes to the paid Caller Number Display VAS for 12 continuous months will be entitled to enjoy, for free, any one of the VASes (each a “Selected VAS”) set out below during the 12-month period commencing from the date of his subscription to the Digital Voice Home Service:
      1. Caller number non-display;
      2. Call waiting;
      3. Call divert plus; or
      4. Incoming call barring.
    2. After the 12-month period, customer will be charged the usual price of $2.14 per month for each Selected VAS.
    3. The Caller Number Display VAS Promotion is applicable to customers who sign up for the Digital Voice Home Service from 17 October 2009 until 31 July 2017, or such other date as StarHub may determine in its sole discretion.
    4. Customers who sign up for a new Digital Voice Home Service, including StarHub Cable Home Broadband, Fibre Home Broadband or TV customers who are eligible to sign up for a new Digital Voice Home Service at the promotional rate of $2.10, are eligible for this Caller Number Display VAS Promotion.
    5. The Caller Number Display VAS Promotion is only valid at the point of sign-up for the Digital Voice Home Service. You will be required to decide on your Selected VAS at the point of sign-up, and no changes will be entertained thereafter.
    6. The Selected VAS and Caller Number Display VAS must be applied to the same Digital Voice Home fixed-line. 
  7. Additional Terms for All Promotions
    1. All prices quoted include goods and services tax.
    2. Promotions cannot be used to offset existing subscription charges or outstanding balances due to StarHub.
    3. Promotions are non-exchangeable for cash or kind, is non-refundable and non transferable。
    4. Unless we specify otherwise, promotions are not available with other discounts, promotions, special packages or external offers.
    5. StarHub reserves the right to determine your entitlement to these promotions, and reject any application for the Digital Voice Home or Digital Voice Global Services, at its sole discretion.
    6. StarHub further reserves the right to revise any of these Promotion Terms & Conditions (including pricing plans) at its sole discretion without prior notice. Your use of the Digital Voice Home or Digital Voice Global Services will constitute acceptance of these Promotion Terms and Conditions and the amendments thereof.
    7. These Promotion Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Singapore and parties agree to be bound by the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
