Terms & Conditions - SmartShare Value Added Service Specific

1. General
The use of the SmartShare Value Added Services (“VAS”) are subject to StarHub's Business General Terms & Conditions, and any other terms and conditions that you and we may have agreed to from time to time. You may view our terms and conditions at http://www.starhub.com.

 

2. Eligibility Criteria

 

2.1 The SmartShare VAS is only available to companies in Singapore with a valid Business Registration Number and who meet the following criteria:

 

(a) each participating mobile number must have a subscription under the 4G 3, 4G 4, 4G 5 and 4G 6 versions of the 4G Plan but not the 4G 12 version of the 4G Plan (“participating 4G Plan mobile number”). The SmartShare VAS is not available to mobile numbers under a 4G 12 version of the 4G Plan and these would not be deemed as a participating 4G Plan mobile number under these terms and conditions.

 

(b) all the participating 4G Plan mobile numbers must be registered under the same Company Name, Business Registration Number and under a single billing account; and

 

(c) there is a minimum of 5 participating 4G Plan mobile numbers for each billing account at any one time.

 

2.2 If there are less than 5 participating 4G Plan mobile numbers for any billing account at any one time, the SmartShare VAS will be automatically terminated with effect from the next billing cycle.

 

2.3 If there is a change in the mobile subscription plan of any one of the participating 4G Plan mobile numbers, and the new mobile subscription plan is not a 4G 3, 4G 4, 4G 5 or 4G 6 version of the 4G Plan, then the SmartShare VAS will be terminated for that mobile number with effect from the next billing cycle.

 

3. The SmartShare VAS

 

3.1 Under the SmartShare VAS, the bundled entitlements granted under the respective mobile subscription plans for each participating 4G Plan mobile number with regards to local minutes, local SMS and local data (“Local Bundled Entitlements”) will be pooled for shared use among all the participating 4G Plan mobile numbers under the same billing account.

 

3.2 We will automatically allocate the Local Bundled Entitlements to each of the participating 4G Plan mobile number based on a “first-come-first use” basis. Our determination of the apportionment and sequence of use of the share Local Bundled Entitlements shall be final and conclusive and we will not entertain any enquires or disputes in relation to allocation and use of the Local Bundled Entitlements amongst the participating 4G Plan mobile numbers.

 

3.3 Where the use of any of the local minutes, local SMS and/or local data exceeds the respective total Local Bundled Entitlements in that regard (“excess use”), such excess use will be charged at StarHub’s prevailing rates applicable under the relevant version of the 4G Plan for the relevant participating 4G Plan mobile number.

 

3.4 All other Value Added Services and benefits under the subscription plan of each participating 4G Plan mobile number will remain with that participating 4G Plan mobile number and will not be pooled or shared under the SmartShare VAS. For example, IDD services and roaming services will not be pooled for sharing.

 

4. Fees and Billing

 

4.1 We will charge you a monthly subscription fee for the SmartShare VAS of S$8.56/- per month per participating 4G Plan mobile number.

 

4.2 The local data bill will be capped at the relevant bill cap for each participating 4G Plan mobile number.

 

4.3 If there is a termination or suspension of the mobile subscription service of a participating 4G Plan mobile number during a month, there will be no pro-rating of the subscription fee for the SmartShare VAS which will be charged for the full month.

 

4.4 In the bill, we will provide only information of the total local voice, local SMS and local data used by each participating 4G Plan mobile number and no information on the apportionment or sequence of the use of the shared Local Bundled Entitlements will be given.

 

4.5 Unused Local Bundled Entitlements in each billing cycle will be forfeited and cannot be rolled over to the next billing cycle.
