Terms & Conditions - Mobile Voice Plans
1. To subscribe to any of our mobile service plans, a one-time registration fee/SIM card charge of $37.45 is applicable for main line. ($26.75 is applicable for MultiSIM).
2. Outgoing excess minutes are chargeable at 16.05 cents per minute, excess SMS are chargeable at 5.35 cents per SMS
3. Excess data charges are at 0.0107cents/KB up to maximum $6.42/GB (for SmartSurf plans) or $10.70/GB (for SmartSurf HD plans, excluding SmartSurf HD Premium plan) or $5.35/GB (for SmartSurf HD Premium plan)
4. For existing StarHub customers who wish to replace their SIM card, a SIM card fee of $26.75 is chargeable.
5. Voice and Video outgoing local call is charged based on initial block of 1 minute and thereafter at per second rate, with effect from 1 May 2013.
6. Usual roaming GPRS charges apply when service is used overseas.

ŒFREE $500 Handset Upgrade Voucher:
1. The voucher is issued once every 12 months of continuous active service on SmartSurf Elite Plan and applicable only for renewal on SmartSurf Elite Plan with 24 months contract. Other Terms and Conditions for usage of voucher apply.
#Hub Club Privileges:
1. To qualify for Hub Club membership, you need to subscribe to StarHub Mobile Postpaid, StarHub CableTV and Broadband services, registered under your name and NRIC or FIN number. Unlimited Talk Time and SMS/MMS (for SmartSurf HD plans):
1. The bundled unlimited talk time and SMS/MMS under a SmartSurf HD plan are applicable to voice calls and SMS/MMS made and sent to any local mobile number or as applicable, fixed-line number.
2. Customers may use the bundled unlimited talk time and SMS/MMS for personal and non-commercial purpose only, subject to StarHub’s fair use and anti-spam policies set out in our General Terms and Conditions.
3. If StarHub, in its sole discretion, determines that the usage of the bundled unlimited talk time and SMS/MMS or any part thereof has been or is being abused by Customers, StarHub may (a) suspend, restrict and/or terminate Customer’s access to the services or any part thereof under the affected SmartSurf HD plan, without any liability to Customers; and (b) charge Customers at the prevailing rates for any usage for commercial purpose.
†FREE Incoming Voice & Video Calls:
1. Applicable to calls received in Singapore only, valid till 31 December 2013.
2. All-Day FREE Incoming Voice Calls are applicable to PowerValue, SmartSurf plans and SmartSurf HD plans.
3. All-Day FREE Incoming Video Calls are applicable to all 3G/4G price plans.
++FREE 100 Outgoing Video Calls:
1. Applicable to all 3G/4G subscription plans for outgoing calls made to any fixed or mobile line in Singapore only. FREE 100 outgoing video call minutes per month for all plans valid till 31 December 2013.
†††IDD 008 Video Call:
1. Promotion rates valid till 31 December 2013, 23:59 hours. View list of supported destinations.
1. Applicable to PowerValue and SmartSurf subscribers, excluding SmartSurf HD subscribers .
2. To enjoy additional 300 local outgoing minutes, customers will need to opt in for one of the three HappyTalk value-added services: MyCircle, MyTime or MyZone.
3. All three HappyTalk value-added services are mutually exclusive and additional talk-time will only be utilized after customers’ price plan bundled local minutes.
4. Customers can call 1633 or SMS the respective keywords to sign up.
5. A one-time charge of $10.70 will apply when customers sign up for HappyTalk.
6. Once customer has selected her/his HappyTalk value-added service, s/he can change to any one of the other two value-added services any time and a one-time charge of $10.70 for each change will apply.
7. MyCircle entitles customers a total of three nominated StarHub numbers which they can call using the additional talk-time.
8. Customers will also get additional 300 local SMS/MMS, which they can use to send to these nominated three MyCircle numbers.
9. Additional 300 local SMS/MMS will be utilized after customers’ price plan bundled local SMS/MMS.
10. The three nominated numbers can be any StarHub fixed, mobile postpaid or prepaid number.
11. To sign up for MyCircle via SMS, text MyCircle<space>Add<space>8-digit number to 6773.
12. For each change of any of the three nominated MyCircle numbers, a one-time charge of $1.07/number will apply.
13. MyTime entitles customers to call any StarHub fixed, mobile postpaid or prepaid number daily between 12 – 7am using the additional talk-time.
14. To sign up for MyTime via SMS, text MyTime<space>Add<space>Time to 6773.
15. MyZone entitles customers to call any local fixed, mobile postpaid or prepaid number using the additional talk-time when they are in the selected zones.
16. The zones which customers can enjoy additional talk-time include *Scape, Bugis Junction, ION Orchard, Plaza Singapura and Raffles City Shopping Centre plus selected schools and camps.
17. MyZone talk-time is only applicable when customers utilize it within the compound of the selected buildings, schools and camps.

‡FREE IDD 018 at just $5/mth:
1. Only applicable for sign-up with SmartSurf plans (excluding SmartSurf HD plans) or PowerValue plans. Applicable to IDD 018 voice calls originating from all SmartSurf plans and PowerValue plans in Singapore to any mobile and fixed line in Bangladesh, Brunei, Canada, China, Hong Kong, India, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Puerto Rico, Russia, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, USA (states in USA only,including Alaska and Hawaii).
2. Also applicable to IDD 018 voice calls made to any fixed line in Australia, New Zealand and United Kingdom.
3. FREE IDD 018 excludes the following:
1. Australia mobile and special services 611, 614.
2. New Zealand mobile 642.
3. UK mobile and special service 443, 447, 448, 449.
4. This promotion is not applicable:
1. To calls made via IDD 008 or by pressing '+' on the mobile phones;
2. To inbound and outbound roaming calls;
3. To calls made from SingTel/M1's mobile lines, all fixed lines and payphones;
4. To calls made via HomeConnect, StarHub payphones or 1635 Operator Assist;
5. To calls made from Digital Voice and
6. For Global SMS.
5. For customers converting from old mobile plans (such as PowerConnect, PowerTalk Ultimate, etc) to SmartSurf/PowerValue plan, FREE IDD 018 Value Added Services will become a payable service at $5/month.
±5.35 cents per MMS Promotion:
1. Applicable to all new and existing StarHub Mobile Postpaid cusomers.
2. The promotional rate of 5.35 cents per MMS sent is only applicable for Local MMS sent within Singapore and does not apply to Global MMS.
3. Promotion is valid till 31 December 2013.
**Bundled SMS to Bundled MMS/Video MMS Conversion:
1. Based on promotional rate of 5.35 cents per MMS sent. Promotion is valid till 31 December 2013.
¶FREE 100 SMS with GIRO:
1. Sign up for Giro payment for your StarHub bills by 31 December 2013 to enjoy 100 FREE SMS/MMS till 31 December 2013.
2. FREE 100 SMS with GIRO payment promotion is not applicable to SharePlus plans, DataPack and Employee Plan.
*FREE Value-Added Services (Local Missed Calls and VoiceMail):
1. Applicable to customers who sign up to new mobile lines.
2. Local Missed Call Alerts is a FREE value-added service for all StarHub Mobile Postpaid customers who are not subscribed to the VoiceMail service.
~FREE 3-month Subscription to International Roaming Value-Added Services:
1. Applicable to new mobile customers or first time subscribers to International Roaming VAS
2. Applicable to customers on PowerValue 80/100/300/700 plans, SmartSurf Lite/Value/Elite plans and SmartSurf HD Value/Plus plans
3. SmartSurf HD Premium and SmartSurf Elite customers shall be entitled to free subscription to International Roaming VAS
4. Customers need to indicate their interest to the sales executive at point of new mobile line sign-up.

ΠUnlimited SMS/MMS for Students & NSFs:
1. The Unlimited SMS/MMS is only applicable to local SMS/MMS.
2. Valid local student pass and NRIC/birth certificate of student under 18 or NSF card are to be produced for subscription.
3. Limited to one StarHub Mobile Student Plan sign-up per student pass or NSF card.
4. The Unlimited SMS/MMS is only applicable to local SMS/MMS for personal use and not commercial or business use such as, but not limited to, SMS/MMS broadcasts. StarHub reserves the right to immediately charge any commercial or business SMS/MMS usage at prevailing rates if StarHub determines, in its sole discretion, that Unlimited SMS/MMS is being used for commercial or business use.
5. Notwithstanding the Unlimited local SMS/MMS provided hereunder, the use of the Unlimited SMS/MMS under this plan is subject to our fair use policy and anti-spam policy set out in our General Terms and Conditions.
6. Customers who wish to enjoy the Unlimited SMS and MMS promotion for another 24 months must produce a valid local student pass or SAF Card for verification again.
7. Customers who subscribe to SmartSurf Student/NSF Plans or PowerValue 300/Student/NSF Plan, will not be allowed to nominate this line as a main line subscription for SharePlus plan.
1. The sharing of bundled local outgoing minutes, SMS bundle and bundled local data with the main line. (Note: Excess data charges are billed to individual mobile line)
2. An additional 1000 units of bundled local SMS per dependent line subscribed. The additional SMS will be added to the total SMS bundle available for sharing between the main line and the dependent line(s).
3. The sharing of 100 FREE Outgoing Video Call Minutes per month if both the main line and dependent line are subscribed to a 3G/4G plan.
4. SharePlus plan is available for subscription as a dependent plan (the "dependent line") of another mobile line (which shall be referred to as the “main line”) that is subscribed to SmartSurf Lite, SmartSurf Value/Premium/Elite.
5. For the subscription of SharePlus plan at $16.05 (including GST) per month (in addition to the applicable registration and SIM Card Charge), up to a maximum 2 dependent line(s) can enjoy:

As the processing of the SharePlus plan application will take up to 3 working days, any local outgoing calls, SMS and data utilised by the dependent line will be chargeable and will not be deducted from the main line’s free bundled units. If the SharePlus plan is entitled to FREE IDD 018 to 19 Destinations, all IDD018 calls will also be chargeable during the processing period.
7. Any excess usage incurred on the main line and the dependent line beyond the total bundled units of outgoing voice/video minutes, SMS and data is charged at 16.05 cents per minute, 5.35 cents per SMS andand 0.0107cents per KB, up to maximum $6.42 per gigabyte block.
8. The service is only available for subscription to NRIC/FIN-registered customers. The subscriber of the main line must be above 21 years of age, a Singaporean, Permanent Resident or Foreigner holding on one of the following foreigner pass types - P1, P2, PEP, Diplomat, Q1, Non-Diplomat, EntrePass, Training Visit Pass.
9. The SharePlus subscription can be on a new or existing StarHub Mobile Postpaid line not on a contract (Prevailing fee of $10.70 for change of service plan is applicable).
10. For new sign up of StarHub Mobile Postpaid line for SharePlus subscription, a one-time registration / SIM card charge of $37.45 is applicable.
11. Each main line is allowed to sign up to a maximum of 2 dependent lines under the SharePlus plan, subject to a cap of not more than 2 dependent lines per NRIC/FIN.
12. Both the main line and dependent line(s) must be registered under the same NRIC/FIN and under the same account.
13. All existing policies pertaining to StarHub Mobile subscriptions apply for the subscription of SharePlus Plan.
14. StarHub reserves the right to reject any application of SharePlus plan. In such cases, any usage incurred on that line will be chargeable.
15. For any change of plan request for an existing StarHub Mobile line to the SharePlus plan, the customer is responsible for any impact to his existing StarHub Rewards points and Hub Club privileges (e.g. Hub Club discount, handset upgrade privileges awarded to Principal Mobile Line every 12 months etc).
16. The main line must remain active and continue to subscribe to one of the eligible plans in order for the dependent line(s) to remain active and share the bundled airtime, data and SMS.
17. For any request for suspension of the main line, all usage on the dependent line(s) will be chargeable at the prevailing rates (i.e. no access to the free bundled units of the main line) thereafter. StarHub reserves the right to suspend the dependent line for any abuse use of the scheme.
18. In the event that the main line is terminated, the dependent line(s) cannot remain on the SharePlus plan and would have to be terminated as well, unless a request is made for a change of service plan for the dependent line(s) prior to or at the point of request to terminate the main line.
19. In the event where the main line is ported out to another service provider, the SharePlus line will be provisioned with a defaulted SmartSurf Value unless otherwise requested by the subscriber to be terminated or changed to another service plan.
20. The dependent line is not eligible for any handset upgrade or any promotional handset offer that StarHub may offer unless otherwise stated.
21. The dependent line is NOT eligible for Hub Club membership or Hub Club discount.
22. The FREE 100 SMS with GIRO payment promotion and any other add-on SMS bundle offered/subscribed on the main line will not be added to the bundled SMS available for sharing by dependent line. The FREE 100 SMS with GIRO payment promotion will not be available to the dependent line(s).
23. The benefit of converting Bundled SMS to Bundled MMS/Video MMS is also applicable on the SharePlus plan.
SmartSurf HD / SmartSurf SIM Only:
1. All prices inclusive of GST.
2. Applicable to SmartSurf HD Value/Plus/Premium and SmartSurf Lite/Value/Premium/Elite plans
3. SmartSurf HD / SmartSurf SIM only plans are at 20% discount off the monthly subscription for a 12-month continuous period.
4. Usual monthly subscription fee for SmartSurf HD / SmartSurf plans will apply from 13th month onwards respectively.
5. SmartSurf HD / SmartSurf SIM only sign-up is mutually exclusive with any 2-year mobile phone package sign-up.
6. The SmartSurf HD / SmartSurf SIM only 20% discount will cease after the 12-month continuous period or once customer signs up a 2-year mobile phone package.
7. A one-time SIM card activation and registration fee of $37.45 will apply.
8. StarHub reserves the right to change any of these terms and conditions without any prior notice.

Free 3 months KKBOX Music Streaming Terms and Conditions:
1. Applicable to all new and re-contract of 2-year Student/NSF plan
2. Customer entitled to Free 3 month KKBOX music streaming service will receive a SMS and is required to sign up within 1 month upon receiving the SMS
3. Usual monthly subscription of $9.90 applies from 4th month onwards
4. Free 1GB local music data is deducted based on the local data traffic in *No sign-up required. Supported Vodafone Destinations: Albania, Australia, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Malta, relation to KKBOX service for StarHub Mobile postpaid customers only.
5. Data charges applicable for data used in relation to other services will not be deducted.
